Daily Reading: Galatians 6:1-5
It isn't very fun to closely examine our motives. Most of the time there are selfish reasons for everything we do - it might look good to everyone around us, but we know the truth and try to keep it as hidden as possible most of the time.
The NLT has a great quote here - if you think you're too good to help someone else you aren't. You're not that important.
Ouch.
In addition to helping others in their time of need, we are also responsible to check our motives as we work. Ultimately we are the only ones responsible for our actions.
may you have love to see needs and the courage to sacrifice to meet those needs.
