The Better Contract

Had some fun last night discussing God's new contract (covenant, testament) and what it means to us.

We are not tied to an old, imperfect copy of worship and sacrifice like they were in the Old contract, but we now have access directly to God.

We do not rely upon daily sacrifices to cover our sins, by accepting Christ's once-for-all sacrifice, our sins are completely cleansed.

We do not need an imperfect man to mediate our relationship with God, we have Jesus Christ as our King and Priest of the Most High as our advocate at the very throne of God.

Through Christ, and the new contract He offers, we have access to the relationship God always intended for us to have with Him.

Over the next few weeks we are going to have some fun as we get into chapters 9-12... Don't miss it :)
